Do you think in 100 years the web and UOC will a 2 dimensional flat screen experience?
Well if you do i guess there is no need to think about how and what we can do in and about virtual worlds. But if you dont, well i guess it is a worth while venture to think about what we can learn in Second Life and how it can be benefitial for our mandate.

And why just Second Life? What about There.com, ActiveWorlds, and Entropy Universe...Each of these has some advantages over Second Life.
(Just a little teaser, I also think Second Life is the most balanced virtual world, but there are many whose gospel has not been spread by all the journalists, and I think they also deserve some attention)
